Viparita Dandasana at home

No props? No problem! Use what you’ve got around the house – even your bed!

This is one of my favourite ways to enjoy a  supported backbend. I love how doing Viparita Dandasana this way relieves tension in my upper back and also nourishes my spirit.  Somehow, being in this shape both rejuvenates and fills me with hope.Stephanie Tencer, Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher
