How to apply for an Assessment:

Candidate:

Prepare files ready to be uploaded with your Assessment Registration

  • IYAC/ACYI Associate Membership receipt
  • Assessment fee receipt
  • Passport type photo (clear head and shoulder photo)
  • Answers to questions listed at the bottom of the Assessment Application*

Log into your IYAC/ACYI website account (https://iyengaryogacanada.com)

Under ‘My Account’ click on ‘Assessment Forms’

Under ‘Assessment Forms’ click on the appropriate level you wish to register for

*  At the bottom of the registration there is a link to the ‘Assessment Questions’, click on this link to see the questions to prepare a file to be downloaded with your registration.

Once all files are prepared, log in once again following the previous instructions.

Include all requested information and attach all requested files.

If you do not have a second mentor, typing ‘none’ will suffice.

Once you submit your Assessment registration:

  1. Upon submission of this form, your mentor will receive an email (copied to you) to fill out to complete your application with their Provisional Recommendation.
  2. Once all documentation is complete, the candidate’s placement will be confirmed in the assessment applied for on a first-come basis.
  3. Final recommendation is due four months prior to the assessment date.

Mentor:

Once you receive an email showing your candidate’s registration

  • Answer the questions under ‘Instructions for Mentor” listed at the top of the email
  • Forward the email, with answers, to pd@iyengaryogacanada.com

Once we have all required information from the candidate and your recommendation, the candidate will be placed on the Assessment Schedule as space allows.
