All of the summer intensive teachers are long time practitioners who serve on the Iyengar Yoga Association of Canada’s Professional Development Committee as assessors and trainers of teachers.

Iyengar Yoga Centre of Victoria Dedicated to physical, mental, and spiritual growth through the discipline of Iyengar Yoga. INTENSIVE FOR INTRODUCTORY TEACHERS IN TRAINING WED. JULY 3 – FRI. JULY 5, 2019 Daily asana and pranayama practice, peer teaching, philosophy and anatomy are included in this intensive for trainees preparing to become Iyengar yoga teachers. ANN KILBERTUS, LESLIE HOGYA and TY CHANDLER are all certified at the Intermediate Senior level. They have practiced and studied for years under the mentorship of Shirley Daventry French. Leslie and Ann travel regularly to Pune to study with the Iyengar family, most recently in December 2015. Ty travels regularly to Pune and to France to continue her studies in the Iyengar tradition. Daily schedule runs 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. IYCV members $414 $455 non-members |
