Finding Santosha in Practice with Uday Bhosale
October 20 @ 7:00 am - October 22 @ 9:00 am PDT
$120
For this general-level Iyengar yoga online workshop we’ve chosen the theme of Santosha in our practice. Can we challenge ourselves to grow in practice with acceptance of where we are now? Let’s explore what role contentment plays in our practice.
This workshop will be a lively mix of asana with an invitation to practice ahimsa and kindness toward self. The last day will include pranayama.
A recording will be made available for 10 days following the last class.
You will need: A yoga mat, belt, two yoga bricks, bolster, 2 to 4 firm blankets (Those of you who practice full Sarvangasana please, have what you need), and a chair. Improvise with household items.
Our Teacher: Many of you may already know Uday from RIMYI, the Iyengar Institute in Pune where he spent years studying and training as a yoga teacher directly with the Iyengar family. Uday brings energy, intelligence, and compassion to his teaching. Known for his humility, his teaching is both lively and gentle. He loved teaching the children’s classes at RIMYI and brings that playfulness to his lessons as well. Please find Uday’s bio here https://www.yogawithuday.com/about-uday
