Align and Shine: Yoga for Scoliosis with Melissa Perehudoff-ONLINE and IN-STUDIO

In this workshop we will explore asanas to create symmetry in the body and steadiness in the mind. Basic breath practice will be included to quieten the nervous system and connect with the internal body. When working with scoliosis we learn ways to be sensitive to the asymmetries in the body and to deal with them intelligently and compassionately. Melissa Perehudoff is a Level 3 teacher who has used Iyengar Yoga to improve symmetry, balance, awareness and freedom in her body with scoliosis.
NOTE: THIS WORKSHOP IS NOT SUITABLE FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH SEVERE BACK CONDITIONS. SOME YOGA EXPERIENCE IS RECOMMENDED. PLEASE CONTACT MELISSA IF YOU ARE CURIOUS IF THIS WORKSHOP IS SUITABLE FOR YOU.
