Pamela Nelson was awarded the Corrine Lowen Memorial Scholarship at our recent Virtual AGM.

In 2014, IYAC/ACYI established the Corrine Lowen Memorial Scholarship to honour and remember the contributions made by Corrine to the Association. She was active in the Victoria BC Iyengar yoga community and a valued member of the Board of Directors of IYAC/ACYI.

The Scholarship of $500 is to support a member’s continuing studies. Any member may nominate another member who is a Certified Teaching member in good standing, or Teacher Trainee member in good standing, and who is also:

• Actively participating in teacher training, assessor training, or other preparation for assessment in the current calendar year; or
• Is pursuing other advanced Iyengar yoga studies, apart from study at RIMYI.
